The Rest

Where exactly is the festival?

The Lakewood Wine and Craft Beer Festival will be held in the 2-story parking deck behind the Bailey and INA Buildings in the heart of Downtown Lakewood. The main entrance to the festival will be on St. Charles, just south of Detroit Ave.

What do I get with a general admission ticket?

Entrance to the festival, 15 sample tickets (2 oz. wine samples and 4 oz. beer samples), access to the Wine and Beer School, musical performances and entertainment.

What's the difference between VIP and regular tickets?

VIP ticket holders have the opportunity to enter the festival one hour before the general public, which provides VIP ticket holders with access to the VIP tent where there will be food, bathrooms, places to sit, wines and beers and a few extra surprises.

Can I buy a ticket at the event?

If the event does not sell out, just an FYI, we have sold out every year. Tickets may be available at the gate for $50. We recommend you buy them in advance online (print at home). There is a very good chance this festival will sell out prior to the event date.

What if I lose my ticket, or can't come?

Keep them in a safe place! Pin them to your shirt. If they are lost there will be no refund, no replacements. There are no refunds for any lost tickets. Again, no refunds or exchanges. If you cannot come, give your ticket to a friend or contact LakewoodAlive to transfer your ticket to another friend electronically.

Do I need identification to enter the festival?

Yes. ID is required for entrance. A special wrist band will be placed on each person who is 21 and over. Vendors will not serve to anyone who is not wearing the wrist band. Please bring your ID with you

Will there be any food available at the Festival events?

Yes, there will be a variety of food to purchase from a fantastic selection of Lakewood restaurant vendors on site.

Where can we park?

There are public parking lots within ¼ mile of the venue. We highly recommend taking public transportation or having a designated driver. The law is very strict on drinking and driving.

Can we bring our children, or our pets?

Although we love children, by law, no one under 21 can be admitted onto the grounds, so leave the little ones home. No babysitting facilities. No infants. No strollers. No exceptions. And no, health laws prohibit any animals of any kind on the grounds. Leave them home too. (Except guide dogs)

When should I arrive?

VIP ticket holders may enter at 4pm, for 60 minutes of VIP beer sampling and wine tasting. The gate opens at 5pm sharp for general admission ticket holders. The festival closes at 10pm sharp.

What if it rains?

This is a rain or shine event. The Festival will go on regardless of the weather. No refunds will be given.

Are there opportunities to volunteer at the festival?

Yes, please see the Get Involved page of this website.

What wine and beer will be served at the Lakewood Wine and Craft Beer Festival?

Please check the event website for the most up-to-date listing. We will continue to diversify our wine and beer offerings. We will be putting extra attention to having more options and quantities of wine at this year's festival.

Am I able to leave and re-enter the festival?

There is no re-entry for this event. We will have everything you need inside the festival grounds. BRING CASH!
